I just want to tell you that I LOVE training for the ZOOMA Annapolis Half Marathon. I was unsure at first whether I should sign up for the training for runners or the run/walk training. I think it was terrific that I could get advice by email back from a personal coach - Gracie! The response I received was to follow the run program. It was surprised and encouraged that Gracie felt that I could do that. I couldn’t wait to get started and I actually started training a few weeks early. I have followed the training program every day. I keep it on my refrigerator and check off each day of training after it is completed.

I know 13.1 miles may not seem like a great distance, but this will be the furthest distance I have ever attempted in a race. I have lost 15lbs during the training and I am feeling great. Most of all I have had no injuries and that was something I was very concerned about that had plagued me in the past. Now we are down to the final week before the half marathon. Thank you for all of your encouragement and interesting articles along the way. Looking forward to a wonderful weekend.
